PERMEROLLs, which use YU-KI BAN adhesive, have established a solid reputation as surgical tape that is gentle on the skin.
Conventional film dressings can tear away the stratum corneum when they are removed. This causes pain and can produce rashes. PERMEROLLs use a soft gel adhesive, fitting closely to the contours of the skin and holding tight. They have the same adhesive power as conventional YU-KI BANs, with almost no stratum corneum peeling or damage when removed. Furthermore, the materials used in the film and adhesive are exceptionally water-permeable. That means that not only can PERMEROLLs can be left on for long periods of time without excessive moisture buildup and without peeling, but also they produce little itching when removed, helping improve patients' QOL.
